“A specialist in recurrent miscarriage, fertility preservation, early pregnancy and reproductive endocrinology.”
Dr Geet Sarodey has more than fifteen years of experience in gynaecology and fertility. She trained extensively in both Mumbai, India and the NHS Wolfson Fertility Centre at Hammersmith hospital, Imperial College, London.
Coming from a long line of gynaecologists and obstetricians, and inspired by family experiences of recurrent miscarriage, Geet decided to specialise in recurrent miscarriage, early pregnancy and reproductive endocrinology, having been trained and contributed to research at the largest recurrent miscarriage clinic in Europe, St Mary’s Hospital, London.
Recognising that her role doesn’t just stop when her patients achieve a pregnancy, and also appreciating how anxious the first trimester of pregnancy is, Geet has undertaken extensive training in early pregnancy ultrasounds and supports patients throughout this time. She can also help to create tentative plans to pass on to NHS care or a private obstetrician once the patient has left the care of The Evewell.
Other areas of specialisation are; reproductive surgery and reproductive endocrinology (for implantation failures, early pregnancy problems and recurrent miscarriage), male infertility and fertility preservation, particularly those who are undergoing cancer treatment and gender reassignment.
Geet is a member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and an active member of the British and European Fertility societies, the Association of Early Pregnancy Units, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali and Marathi languages, and is proficient in Gujarati and Punjabi.
