At the core of delivering safe, effective and continually improving care, our Quality team supports clinical excellence across the entire patient journey, ensuring the highest standards are upheld at every stage.
The Quality Team plays a vital role in safeguarding clinical standards across every stage of a patient’s fertility journey.
They work behind the scenes to ensure care is safe, compliant and continuously improving, supporting clinical teams through governance, data insight and quality systems to deliver the highest possible standards of patient care.
The Quality team is responsible for ensuring that all clinical services are safe, compliant and continuously improving. This includes overseeing clinical governance, regulatory compliance with bodies such as the HFEA and CQC, managing the Quality Management System, supporting audits and investigations, and using data to monitor performance and outcomes. The team works across clinics and disciplines to maintain high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
Working in the Quality team is varied and collaborative. Day to day tasks may include reviewing and updating SOPs, supporting audits and inspections, analysing clinical and pregnancy outcome data, chairing or contributing to multidisciplinary meetings, and working closely with nurses, consultants and managers to resolve issues and improve processes. The role combines detailed desk based work with regular engagement across clinical teams.
People who thrive in the Quality team are detail focused, confident communicators and motivated by improving standards of care. They are comfortable having constructive but sometimes challenging conversations, enjoy problem solving, and are able to balance regulatory requirements with real world clinical practice. A genuine interest in quality improvement, patient experience and teamwork is essential, as the team plays a key role in shaping how care is delivered across The Evewell.
The Clinical Quality Officer is a new role vital to the clinical governance and risk management of the clinical services at the Evewell Group.
