Montse trained and qualified in Spain before becoming a UK GMC recognised Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2013. She worked for two years in foetal medicine and early pregnancy scanning, before joining the reproductive clinical team at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 2015 as a fertility and gynaecology specialist.
Montse’s background in foetal medicine means she truly understands the reproductive process holistically from beginning to end and can combine her special interest in ultrasound and minimally invasive procedures into her fertility consultancy.
Having been on her own fertility journey, Montse deeply understands the difficult journey her patients are experiencing and works tirelessly to provide empathetic care, ensuring patients have and understand the best choices for them. It’s because of this Montse has created close and personal relationships with all her patients, and often helps them complete their family once they have had their first child.
Despite being a specialist in all areas of fertility, Montse is particularly passionate about helping same-sex assigned female at birth couples and solo mums by choice build families, as well as supporting those wishing to pursue fertility preservation and egg freezing.
Montse has been a part of the team at The Evewell since October 2019 and truly believes in the personal approach of the clinic. She has a warm working relationship with her patients and prides herself on being a trusted expert to those in her care.
Montse loves the collaborative aspect of working at The Evewell, and feels the importance of allowing all patients to gain from the expertise of the entire team, whilst also having the continuity of seeing the same doctor, is the reason why we see such high success rates.
