Dr Raj Jaspal is a consultant obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist with more than 15 years of NHS clinical experience. Having trained and worked across several of London’s leading teaching hospitals, she brings extensive expertise in IVF, fertility preservation and pre implantation genetic testing.
Raj started her career in obstetrics, but quickly became drawn to the vulnerability of early pregnancy and the emotional intensity of the fertility journey. She discovered how much she valued getting to know couples closely, supporting them through each stage and being able to follow their story over time.
Her own personal fertility journey has shaped the way she practises. Raj understands how it feels to move through uncertainty and hope, and she is committed to ensuring every patient feels listened to, respected and supported. She delivers news with honesty and compassion, always mindful of the emotional ups and downs people face throughout treatment.
Raj specialises in complex patient pathways, particularly in genetic testing and gynaecological conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis. She is highly experienced in balancing these conditions with IVF treatment, managing each stage carefully to optimise both treatment response and future pregnancy health. Her deep grounding in gynaecology means she is focused on achieving the best possible outcome for each patient, which may sometimes involve treating an underlying condition before considering fertility treatment.
Alongside her clinical work, Raj is a dedicated educator, teaching undergraduates, supervising research students and training junior doctors in fertility and surgical simulation. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the British Fertility Society and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
