Dr Nikolaos Blontzos is a consultant obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist with extensive experience in reproductive medicine across both Greece and the UK.

Known for his calm and empathetic approach, Nikolaos takes time to truly understand each patient’s story, creating personalised, evidence-based treatment plans that prioritise trust, care and clarity. He believes fertility treatment is always a personal decision, so he ensures patients have all the information they need to feel confident and involved every step of the way.

Nikolaos takes great care to explain all evidence-based options in detail, helping patients understand the implications of each path. He believes honesty is essential, and that setting realistic expectations and supporting patients as they make informed decisions about their care are essential.

Nikolaos is particularly passionate about fertility preservation, including egg and embryo freezing, helping people secure the chance to build their families in the future. His expertise spans all areas of fertility and gynaecological care, including endometriosis, pelvic ultrasound, hysteroscopy and the management of both male and female infertility.

He holds a Master’s in Reproductive and Regenerative Medicine, has completed a two-year fellowship in fertility, and is completing a PhD on the pathophysiology of endometriosis at the University of Athens.

Accredited by the British Fertility Society and certified by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Nikolaos combines technical precision with warmth and compassion.
