Mr Davis is the Medical Director and Co-Founder of The Evewell, bringing over 20 years of specialist experience in fertility, gynaecology and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Recognised as one of the UK’s leading figures in reproductive medicine, he has dedicated his career to improving clinical outcomes through innovation, research and exceptional patient care.
After graduating in 1990, Mr Davis completed specialist training across several major London teaching hospitals, including the Hammersmith Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital and University College Hospital. In 2000, he undertook a prestigious surgical fellowship in the United States, where he advanced pioneering minimally invasive techniques that have since shaped modern gynaecological practice.
In 2001, he was appointed Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals. He later achieved his postgraduate Doctorate of Medicine (MD) at Imperial College London and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Before co-founding The Evewell in 2018, Mr Davis served as the lead fertility clinician at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, where he established a national training centre for minimally invasive surgery. He is widely regarded as one of the few surgeons in the UK at the forefront of advanced endoscopic techniques. He has been instrumental in developing new approaches to laparoscopic microsurgery, particularly for tubal disease, endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
Mr Davis provides specialist care in reproductive medicine, fertility assessment and treatment including IVF and ICSI, as well as managing complex gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis, menstrual disorders, the menopause and polycystic ovarian syndrome. His surgical expertise includes laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy, hysteroscopic procedures and laser treatment for endometriosis.
He performs surgery at The Portland Hospital and The Princess Grace Hospital, offering integrated, consultant-led care for patients requiring both fertility and gynaecological treatment.
A respected author and educator, Mr Davis has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on tubal surgery, endometriosis and reproductive technologies. His active research programme has contributed significantly to enhancing IVF outcomes and improving the likelihood of pregnancy for many couples.
He has hosted multiple international conferences, including Frontiers in Reproductive Surgery in 2002 and 2004, where he demonstrated advanced laparoscopic techniques to a global medical audience. His commitment to education and surgical excellence continues to influence reproductive medicine both in the UK and internationally.
